July Requests # 3

by Wanda Short on July 30, 2010

Individual Needs:

Betty (Rick AD70.net) “My friend Jim’s Step Mother Betty is undergoing testing to determine if a mass that was found in her brain is cancer. They are looking for other masses in her body, as they are easier to biopsy. It’s really hard on Jim. He lost his Mother in 1999 to cancer and this is troubling to him. I’m praying for a positive outcome, and no cancer is found in her body.”

Nathan (Tom) Sue’s 2 years old son has been diagnosed with PKU; “(Phenylketonuria: a deficiency in the hepatic enzyme phenylalanine hydroxylase (PAH). This enzyme is necessary to metabolize the amino acid phenylalanine (‘Phe’) to the amino acid tyrosine. When PAH is deficient, phenylalanine accumulates and is converted into phenylpyruvate, this then builds up in the brain, causing mental retardation, seizures, then death.) Please pray for them.”

Ana Update! “Life at the Cole’s has been going ok.  Ana’s kidney is doing fine and as of right now she seems to be doing ok with all her other peripheral issues.  We all traveled by plane to Ridgefield, Washington which is about a half hour north of the Portland, Oregon airport.  Ana met my brother and his wife and son and my oldest sister’s husband and two daughters.  Ana said that she really enjoyed the visit and meeting more family.  We spent 10 days in Washington with a one day jaunt to Eugene, Oregon.  We were able to visit Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. St. Helens, and the Oregon coast along highway 101.  This was the first vacation Ana, Anita, and I have been able to take together as a family and we had a great time.  Ana really enjoyed the scenery of the Pacific Northwest, meeting more family, and the plane trip.  We saw the Grand Canyon from the air, and the mountains of Washington, Oregon, and Northern California from the air too.  Please pray for Ana’s continued compliance regarding her medical needs.  She has been a real blessing and encouragement as she faithfully takes her meds twice everyday, drinking enough gatorade and water, and taking care of her other medical needs.  She has so much to do everyday to maintain her health.  Every once in awhile she has asked me “why me?”.   I tell her that I do not have an answer, but that Anita and I will always love her and we will help her get through each day one day at a time.  I tell her that God only gives us one day at a time so that we trust HIM each day and we don’t need to worry about any more than that.  Also pray that GOD will give Anita and I wisdom to deal with all the questions that Ana has and will continue to have as she becomes a Godly young woman.  Ana will be 15 this November.  Thank you all for your continued prayers, love and support. IN HIM,Gary for Anita and Ana =

Geoff  (Jean-Pierre) “Please put Geoff on the prayer list – he is a man I met on a French forum and he was asking if preterism is true. Threw the discussion he was amazed that in 24 years of being a Christian that he never saw these passages in this light.”  ** Pray that JP has more oppty to discuss fulfilled redemption with Geoff and that his heart is open to hearing.

Ministries:

Preterism Info & Report – Michael Fenemore.Restoring the credibility of Jesus Christ and His holy apostles • Awakening Christians from the futurist delusion”  This ministry includes a website that showcases comprehensive articles, music, art gallery, many resources, a preterist locator map application, and has full capability with mobile devices!  Pray that this ministry continues to provide much needed information to those seeking to know more about preterism as this site comes up very high on the search results.  Also please pray for Michael as he suffers from Fibromyalgia which has increasingly hindered his progress in researching and writing and he states: “I’m hoping that with the years I have left, I can continue to make some kind of contribution. So your prayers in that regard are appreciated.”

AD70.net Show/Hosts:

Three Minute Sanctuary – Pastor Bob Beeman.  This is an incredible three minute daily devotional that is heard several times a day.  The link provided will take you to the Journey interview recently heard with Mike Loomis and Pastor Bob. For a complete list of the whole year of these devotionals go to Pastorbobbeeman.com and subscribe. Please pray specifically for Pastor Bob for his requests: “I have just recovered from pneumonia, which has left me without much energy.  I had to cancel my next speaking tour in Europe.  I would appreciate prayer for my health, and that I can recover soon! I am working on my schedule for the next two years.  It is difficult to remember that I am not 21 anymore.  I need wisdom to schedule those things that my health and my age will handle.  My last speaking tour in Europe was 60 days long – and a bit too much for me. I am excited that there are so many requests from all over the world, but I need to use God’s wisdom to know which to accept. Your Friend, Pastor Bob”

July Requests # 2

by Wanda Short on July 10, 2010

Individual Needs:

Ed H. (Prayer Warrior) UPDATE: “Thanks for your prayers.  My blood count is back to normal.  I am “home.”  My face is still very red, and slightly swollen, and I will have a couple scars where the infection burst through my skin. I have also had some damage to my right optic nerve but it is too early to tell how long or how much of the vision damage will remain over time.  They had to give me 26 rounds of IV antibiotics, and I still have an oral cycle.  This has basically destroyed my immune system and any good bacteria I had in my body as well.  I dropped 15 pounds in the 4 days, but I feel good today.  My energy level is better than it has been for months.  My pain is still pronounced, but I will live.  They actually told me I was within a 3 mm advance of the infection from permanent brain damage.  They still do not know the cause and said is pronouncement bursting through my face from my sinus was odd as well.  Thanks again for your prayers.  Ed”  **Please keep Ed in your prayers as he transitions back to normal activities and that his body heal completely.

Josh – (Claudette’s teenage son) PRAISE: UPDATE: Josh underwent the procedure this week to remove the IVC filter that was placed after his accident. He did very well and is recovering. Please keep him in your prayers as well as Claudette (Prayer Warrior) who is undergoing testing to diagnose a neurological issue that is causing her to have seizures.

Rick’s Cousin (AD70.net) My cousin is in a tough situation.  She’s in a relationship where the guy is stringing her along, and she can’t see it. She feels that God is guiding her in her thoughts.  I pray that she is listening.  She declares that she is getting messages from God in prayer that are asking her to stay in this relationship, where she is giving all and not receiving much at all.  It completely one sided.  I pray that she is actually getting God’s message for her, and not her own.  She’s a mother to 3 young boys, and gets little support from their father.  I pray for God’s peace for her. Thanks, Rick.

Rick’s ex-Wife (AD70.net) Hi everyone! Please pray for a positive outcome in my ex-wife’s current relationship.  She’s got an internet relationship going on and they’ve met once.  We all went to high school together.  I see some very disturbing things going on with the relationship.  He’s added her to his family plan on his cell phone, she’s moving in with him in October.  She’ll be living with his mother and him for about 6 months before they get a place of their own.  She’s known him for less than 6 months.  He’s showing himself to be controlling and she’s putting herself it what I see is a dangerous situation, regardless of what her family and anyone else has to say about this.  She’ll be in CA and 1800 miles away from her family here in IA.  I want this to work out for the best, as I want the best for her.  I ask that God provides for her the best situation there can be for this, if it is His will.  So prayers for His will be done are what I ask I guess.  Thank you, and God bless, Rick.

Ministries:

Preterists Unite! – Renee.  This group is through the Café Mom (Moms ONLY) network.  So, this specific social group allows women to gather together and interact with our views on eschatology and fulfilled redemption. We discuss the time statements in the Bible in regards to the Second Coming as well as other prophecies. We will discover what can be learned from history and how it can apply to us today.

AD70.net Show/Hosts:

Kingdom Christianity – John Noe.  Thursdays – 12:00noon PST.  Join John and Michael Loomis as they continue the discussion about the current state of the Kingdom of God within modern Christianity.  Also tune in for discussions on the series “Unraveling the End” which has presented the evidence, biblically and historically, that everything God promised and prophesied via his prophets regarding his plan of redemption (saving us human beings from sin and restoring our fellowship with Him) also happened “at just the right time . . . in its proper time.

Urgent Request – Ed Hassertt *Updated

by Wanda Short on July 7, 2010

Hey everyone, this is an urgent request for prayer for a fellow Prayer Warrior – Ed Hassertt.

He suffers physically due to a degenerative nerve condition from military service accompanied by severe arthritis and chronic severe pain which causes occasional paralysis and weakness and the level of pain has increased tremendously over the last 2 months. The last few days he has had a fever and swelling especially in his face and neck.

Yesterday the fever broke but the swelling and inflammation was really extremely pronounced (he sent me a picture) and he finally stopped being stubborn and allowed his friends to take him to the Emergency Department last night. He was admitted to St. Joseph’s Peace Hospital shortly thereafter due to a Staph infection (they ran cultures to check for MRSA which is a resistant and very dangerous strain of Staph but they take a couple days to grow out) and the doctors told him that if he had waited another day or two the infection could have reached his brain. He is on IV antibiotics and resting ok.

Please be in prayer that the infection responds well to the antibiotics and that it is not MRSA. Also that he is able to have some pain relief while in the hospital and that the doctors might even be able to address his increased level of pain from the nerve condition.

UPDATE 7/7 (am) – Thank you to all who are in prayer. Ed was able to get a few hours rest and is on his third round of antibiotics. A CT Scan this morning showed no abscesses (praise God) so they are trying to get the infection under control. He is still in pain but not quite as much so please continue to keep him in your prayers today especially.

UPDATE: 7/7 (pm) Ed was started on yet another IV antibiotic this afternoon and he still has an incredible amount of swelling  and inflammation in his face.  Please pray for healing and that his pain is better controlled and that the doctors are able to address his increased level of pain from his degenerative nerve disease while an inpatient.  Still waiting for the blood tests to show any specific pathogen causing the infection.

UPDATE: 7/8 (am) Ed’s WBC (white blood count) is coming down so the antibiotics appear to be doing their job!

UPDATE: 7/9 (am) The swelling and inflammation is slowly receding and the infection appears to finally be under control.  Ed was able to get a few short hours of sleep this morning and is hoping to get the news today that he can be discharged.

UPDATE: 7/9 (pm) Great news!  Ed is being discharged this evening at 6pm PST!  He has had a rough day today due to the last 3 rounds of antibiotics and anticoagulants but will be more comfortable at home.

Thanks and blessings. w

July Requests # 1

by Wanda Short on July 5, 2010

Individual Needs:

Josh – (Claudette’s son) PRAISE: Josh’s surgery to remove the hardware from his ankle went well and he is healing nicely.  Please keep him in your prayers as well as Claudette (Prayer Warrior) who is undergoing testing to diagnose a neurological issue that is causing her to have seizures.

Ana (AD70.net) Gary’s daughter who is 14yrs old and recently received a kidney transplant. UPDATE: I am sorry for not updating everyone in a timely manner.  Ana has been doing pretty good overall.  She is still dealing with a bladder infection for which she is taking 2 anti-biotics every day.  Her sodium level is very good also.  And, her kidney continues to function and adapt to her body excellently.  The number one reason young folks lose a transplant is due to non compliance.  Ana’s compliance attitude has been and continues to be excellent.  She takes her meds, does her special daily hygiene, and continues to improve her drinking habits.  Please continue to praise GOD for her body’s acceptance of her kidney and for her attitude to take her meds and take care of her hygiene issues.  Please continue to pray that her bladder will heal and that she will become stronger and healthier as the days and weeks go by.  Oh, she has grown about 2 inches in the past 6 months or so.  The doctors think she will get a bit taller during the coming months.  That will be a blessing.  Also, please pray that the Coles will continue to grow in grace and that we will be sensitive to how GOD is directing this adventure for us.  Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.  May GOD richly bless all of you!! IN HIM, Gary for Anita and Ana=”

Patrick (SGP) Patrick has been on the prayer list for several months as he has been battling a recurrence of his cancer: adenocarcinoma and in April he had surgery. UPDATE 6/25/10: About four weeks ago, I traveled to Houston for routine checkup. The day I arrived, a Monday, I started getting a really bad pain in the back of my neck. No matter what I took (aleve, extra tylenol…) the pain just kept getting worse. It got to the point that I called my wife to call the doctor to see if could get something stronger. They called me back and asked if I could make it to the ER. I told them I was on the way.   I was hurting so bad I had to get someone to wheel me in a wheelchair over to the hospital. After they took my vitals, I passed out in the wheel chair and I don’t remember anything else until Thursday. When I came to on Thursday, I remember seeing my parents come into my room dressed in yellow gowns and wearing masks. I could not figure for the life of me why my parents were in Houston.  Come to find out, I had contracted bacterial Meningitis, pneumonia, and MRSA…any of which could have killed me. The doctors later told my wife that on Tuesday they didn’t know if I would make it through the night. The reason my parents were there was because a nurse had called my wife and talked her that she needed to get to Houston and bring any necessary paperwork such as wills and health care power of attorney. She knew something was really wrong and called my parents to get them to come as well.   When I did start coming around on Wednesday I couldn’t talk and couldn’t move my left side (not that I remember). The doctors cautiously warned my wife that that might be the best I get, and only time would tell. By late Thursday though, I was talking and could start to move my left side. By the following Tuesday I was walking around, albeit with a lot of help. One of the neurologists who had worked there for a while told my wife he had never seen someone come so close to death bounce back so quickly. Many of the nurses encouraged my wife that God had his hand on me and must have a purpose for my life.   It has been a rough few weeks, but I thank God he brought me through it and, well, that I am still alive to tell about it. Thanks for all your prayers and God bless….Patrick”.  ** Patrick is doing better (writing articles and rebutting other views with his customary humor and passion) and we will get an update for the next post but please keep him and his family in your continual prayers!

Dennis – (SGP) “It’s been quite a while since I have posted on this group and my life has went through some heart wrenching changes. I would humbly request all of your prayers for my family’s and my well being in the next few months as we re-locate from Tennessee to South Bend, IN. And if there are any members in that area who would like some fellowship of fellow preterists let me know. Peace.”  If you are live in the area of South Bend and wish to connect with Dennis please contact us at: prayer@ad70.net and we will forward your information.  Please keep this family in your prayers for all the details of the relocation to fall into place and that they have support and comfort during this time.

Her husband, Ed, suffers from other serious health issues and is having a difficult time persevering through this and has just recently inflicted with an infection in his leg.  Tom aches to be at the bedside and be present to support and comfort his brother but cannot afford to travel to be with them.

Simon – (Friend of Jean-Pierre) “Please pray for Simon (not a Christian) for he has gotten into a lot of trouble and if there was a time for him to turn to God it would be now.”

Ed – (Pretcosmos group) Please pray for Ed especially the next couple weeks as his plans for the future continue to solidify.  Pray for a release from the constant pain he is enduring and for restorative sleep.  Also pray for the projects that Ed is working on – several book projects as well as the Intro to Ethics class on Wednesdays and the In Search of the Church series on Mondays and Fridays with Mike Loomis.  UPDATE: Pain levels have increased and the doctors say that this may be the new “normal” for Ed.  Pray for him to find ways to persevere through this and that his faith is strengthened.  Also pray for safe travels as he heads across the country this week.

Ana – (AD70.net) Gary’s daughter who is 14yrs old and recently received a kidney transplant. UPDATE: “Ana went to the emergency room (*) this afternoon and received an IV antibiotic.  She is fighting a bacterial infection which was not affected by 4 previous antibiotics.  She will be getting the IV treatment at 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. for a minimum of five days.  Labs will be done towards the end of the five to determine if five more days are needed.  Please pray for rest for all of us, for wisdom for the doctors to figure out what the infection is, for Ana to get healed quickly, and that she continues to eat and drink enough for her kidney health.”   *This was from May 16 and I have not been able to reach Gary for an update…if anyone has any info please update the page.

Ministries:

Because of Him Art Ministry 2010 – James Kessler.  Jim is an accomplished artist who has taken the preterist culture and created beautiful pieces of art!  All of his pieces are practical artwork that honors the Scripture in its original time setting and relevance. “Being an artist and understanding the power of all forms of the artistic pallet, I believe art sheds a positive light on the human condition more so than any religious dogma. It doesn’t start with the need to condemn nor judge and is neutral by its very nature. Sure art can be used both as a positive and a negative influence but art was never meant to be worshiped, just appreciated on its own merits.” James Kessler.  Please pray for this ministry and all of his projects as Jim continues to tell the truth of fulfilled redemption through art.

AD70.net Show/Hosts:

Preterist Broadcast Network – Michael Loomis.  This ministry encompasses forums (preteristforum.com), networking sites (myAD70.net), the radio pages (AD70.net & thepodcast.org), the video site (AD70.tv), informational sites (preteristchurch.com, fullpreterism.com, 70ADwiki.com), and more.  Mike has continued to step out in faith putting his own time and money and resources into drawing the preterist community together as well as providing a place for teachers, pastors, and leaders to come forward to nourish us all.  Mike has new ventures and projects in the works and we need to keep him in our prayers as he navigates through the details of bringing the message of fulfilled eschatology to the uttermost parts of the world!

Church/Worship Gathering/Fellowships:

Freaked Out Fellowship – Mike Miano (Fort Myers, FL).  Freaked-Out Fellowship is a ministry endeavor established to be an assembly of “Jesus Freaks”.  A ”Jesus Freak” is new creation in Christ Jesus, who has been transformed and continually renewed by the Spirit of God. Our understanding of the Word of God and what Christ Jesus has accomplished is what breeds a “freaked-out mentality”.  The ultimate goal of Freaked-Out Fellowship is to be like the disciples in the book of Acts and through our knowledge of Him and joy in Him, we are committed to ”turning the world upside-down”.  We must use our various talents, gifts, callings, and visions to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the Church!  We see the opportunity and the need for Christians to be more of an active, peculiar people doing the things that Jesus Christ would be doing. Activities such as feeding the homeless, clothing the naked, visiting the widows, all at the same time spreading the gospel of grace.

Prayer warriors – Mike has recently embraced the full preterist view and is friends with Alan Bondar and worshiping at MRC and continues to be a passionate evangelist and he works closely with the needy and less fortunate here in Lee County.   Please pray for him and his family, this ministry, and all he has asked specifically:  “Please continually pray for the situation in Israel/ Palestine. As you may know in the passed 2 days the crisis has been worsening, with more deaths today. Peacemaking is needed in that region, and I have prayerfully committed myself to this. Please, while you life up prayers, ask God if He would have you help me in my efforts to participate with Christian Peacemaker Teams. Thank you so much to all of you who have already committed time, money, and effort to helping make this a reality.  All glory and honor to the Prince of Peace! Thanks, Mike Miano”

Peace.”  If you are live in the area of South Bend and wish to connect with Dennis please contact us at: prayer@ad70.net and we will forward your information.  Please keep this family in your prayers for all the details of the relocation to fall into place and that they have support and comfort during this time.

UPDATE: I don’t know how to put this in words but here goes.  ANA & ANITA WILL BE HOME.  They will be arriving Midland sometime tomorrow, Thursday, afternoon.  Ana is doing excellently.  As most of you know, our home was flooded on Monday and we cannot really move back in yet so we will be residing at the Residence Inn which is right next to the sports complex behind Sam’s Club.  The drying process is still taking place so I don’t really know how long we’ll be in the hotel.  Here is another note related to Ana’s kidney transplant.  Please be seated!!  If you recall, Ana had been dealing with Epstein Bar Virus which was preventing her from receiving a kidney during the past months.  Well, 6 weeks ago, when we were informed that a kidney was available, she was tested for the virus again and the test came back positive and at the highest level it had been at for many months.  Again, have a seat.  Well, this should have prevented her from receiving her kidney, but as you all know, she has had her kidney for 6 weeks now.  The donor had Epstein Bar Virus, and not just the virus, but the very same strain.  Ok all you math gurus, poker gurus, and…What are the odds that her kidney would be in the hospital across the street, with EBV, and the same strain??  GOD has been very gracious to us and this is just another miracle for ANA.  And by the way, her labs in regards to her kidney are still very excellent.  She looks so good.  We are looking forward to being all together as a  family again. Ana thanks you, Anita thanks you, and I thank you all for all your continued support, prayers and encouragement.  We are praising GOD for all that HE has done and will continue to do. IN HIM, Ana, Anita, and Gary=

Ministries:

Public TV Access Project – Dave Warren (aka Lahaina Dave!)  Dave has been coordinating the huge task of getting preterist teachings into the hands of people all over the world through the means of public access tv.  He has been tirelessly working to connect with preterists around the country to act as presenters in their local markets.  A presenter is someone who would be the point of contact between Dave and the local station and the only task involved is simply calling the station and sending the DVD’s and possibly attending a short seminar at the local station in order to be able to provide the DVD’s for airing.  Dave and his team have done all the work of formatting the various programs into what is needed and has several all ready!  This ministry is so crucial to getting the truth of fulfilled eschatology out to all the people of earth and we need your help!  If you are willing to do very little work in order to have an incredible ministry be nurtured and grown please contact us at prayer@ad70.net and we get you connected to Dave!

May Requests # 1

by Wanda Short on May 7, 2010

Individual Needs:

Ed – (Pretcosmos group) Please pray for Ed especially the next couple weeks as his plans for the future continue to solidify.  Pray for a release from the constant pain he is enduring and for restorative sleep.  Pray for safe travels to Florida in two weeks and that he finds peace, rest, and support so that he may be strengthened and renewed and encouraged.  Also pray for the projects that Ed is working on – several book projects as well as the Intro to Ethics class on Wednesdays and the In Search of the Church series on Mondays and Fridays with Mike Loomis.

Ana – (AD70.net) Gary’s daughter who is 14yrs old and recently received a kidney transplant. UPDATE:  Ana’s progress has been nothing short of amazing.  She is doing very well, and the nephrology doctors are very pleased with her continued improvement.  The original schedule was to be 3 visits per week for the first month, two visits per week for the second month, and one visit per week for the third month after her transplant, and that schedule could change relative to her doing well or not doing as well as hoped for.  The doctors have already moved her to one visit per week, which essentially means that she is already one month ahead of the original schedule.  The doctors are also already decreasing some of her medications related to her kidney transplant.  We can praise GOD for all the above.  Now because of the schedule change, Ana and Anita will be COMING HOME!!!!! They will be coming home this Thursday, the 13th.  YEAH.  We will continue to make weekly and then twice a month and then once a month trips to Cook Children’s for her kidney check ups to make sure her kidney is healthy and working like it is supposed to.  Ana, Anita, and I want to say thank you to all of you for all your support and prayers through all of this.  Words will never be able to express how much we appreciate all of you.  GOD has blessed us with an extra measure of grace during this part of our adventure and all of you have been a very, very huge part of GOD’s sustaining us.  We will never know, but I am certain that this journey would have been very different, and incredibly more difficult if we would have attempted this without you at our side.  Oh, here is a small side note.  It was a year ago, May 4th, when Ana experienced her cardiac arrest!  Again, thank you for your prayers and continue to pray for Ana to grow, for her kidney to become more healthy, and that she is able to keep her kidney for many, many years.  Also, please pray for us as a family.  There will be a transition with us living together again after over 56 weeks of Anita and Ana living in Fort Worth.  Please pray that all three of us “Seek the very best for each other… patiently, kindly, sacrificially, and unconditionally”.  The Coles – Ana, Anita, and Gary”

Melissa & Family – (Pretcosmos group) Melissa’s Uncle Nonnie died suddenly.  UPDATE:  “We are all doing well.  My cousins knew it was coming and that Uncle Nonnie is in a better place.  We really appreciate your prayers.  It is sooo good to know that there are good people out there who care for one another.  I know Christians assume so much about each other, but I feel this group is sincere in it’s endeavors to lift each other up to the Lord.  Thank you again for your faithfulness. As always, In Him, Melissa”  Please continue to keep Melissa and her family in your prayers.

Ministries:

It upholds the words of Christ that the first century was the time when all things written and spoken by the mouth of all the prophets were fulfilled, Luke 21:20-22; Acts 3:21. Further, it seeks to express the meaning of this fulfillment in our lives today.  Please pray for William’s many projects such as developing and writing articles and books; creating videos; preparing of and teaching at conferences & seminars; and the Tuesday radio show – that he is continuously encouraged and supported in all of his efforts to bring truth and healing to the nations.

AD70.net Show/Hosts:

The Sam Frost Show – Sam Frost.  Airs on Wednesdays at 4pm PST.  “Where Frostbite is a good thing!” Join in as Sam covers a diverse range of topics in a down to earth and engaging style.  Want to know what the true mission of Israel and Global Christianity are?  Want to know if Sam feels the world is getting worse or better?  Check out last week’s show from the podcast page at preteristradio.com.  Please pray for Sam and his family as their home was burglarized this week and some equipment was stolen but praise God that no one was injured even though Sam did catch the men in the act.

Church/Worship Gathering:

A Door For the Word – Pastor Terry Kashian.  A fellowship ministry that meets weekly in Tuscon, AZ.  Mission Statement: “The mission of us being gathered together by our Lord is threefold. First and foremost, to give Him the preeminence in all things as the Center and our Head and our All. Secondly, to create an atmosphere of freedom and liberty for mutual edification so all can function in their giftedness and calling in the body of Christ, without the sacrifice of true spiritual authority and accountability. And last, but not least, to save and disciple the lost and bring them to full maturity in Christ to the glory of God our Father.” Vision: “OUR GOAL IS TO REACH THE HEART OF GOD, TO REACH ONE ANOTHER, TO REACH THE LOST WITH GOD’S LOVE.”  If you would like to have more information on this fellowship please email: prayer@ad70.net .

April Requests # 5

by Wanda Short on April 30, 2010

Individual Needs:

Ana – (AD70.net) Gary’s daughter who is 14yrs old and recently received a kidney transplant. Please pray for: “continued recovery, and that GOD permits her kidney to be accepted by her little body. She is about 60 lbs. Also pray for Anita and me (Gary). UPDATE:  Gary just called to say that Ana’s labs came back and they looked great!  She is doing so well in fact, that she and Anita will be coming home a month early!  Praise God!  Pray for the transition next week from the hospital setting back to the home setting goes smoothly, and please continue to pray for Gary, Anita, and Ana.

Patrick Stone – (SGP) Patrick had surgery on 4/5 to remove the adenocarcinoma.  UPDATE: “The surgery went very well. My surgeon removed the tumor and pretty much the rest of my sinuses to give me a margin. He also took out the skull behind the sinus cavity. During the surgery he discovered another suspicious spot on my dura (the lining of my brain) and removed that as well with margins. The spot turned out to be cancerous as well, which disheartened me at first, but then I realized if the doctors had not saw the spot on the inside of my sinus they may not have found the cancer on my dura until it had gotten into my brain. So I do praise God for his mercy and blessings in all this. I am now talking with a wonderful medical oncologist who specializes in chemotherapy. He has sent the tumor off to do a complete path analysis to determine if and what chemo/drugs will give me an “edge.” Please pray (if the Lord wills) that they will find something that will knock this thing out for good.  Thanks again for everyone’s prayers. I know many of you are going or have been through similar things and your stories really encourage me. God bless you all… Patrick  Oh. One other little praise report. After the radiation I’ve had pretty much constant and severe congestion. During this surgery they actually removed a lot of the radiated tissue. Since then the severe congestion seems to have been almost completely eliminated. I know it’s a small thing, but I am thankful.”

Melissa & Family – (Pretcosmos group) Melissa’s Uncle Nonnie died suddenly.  Please keep her and her Uncle’s family in your prayers – we will post more info as we get updates.

Rick – (AD70.net) “My Mother died on the 28th of June, 2009. I was her caregiver. We lived a life of solitude. We had moved to Des Moines, IA so that I could marry my high school sweetheart. That didn’t work out. We left our family and friends in Arizona and now that she is gone I am extremely lonely. I’m all-alone in a world of people. Easter is coming up and I don’t want to be alone for the holiday. My family has taken care of the other holidays, by providing a place for me to come, this holiday it seems I’m going to be all-alone. I ask for prayer for my loneliness, as I’m afraid of it on a holiday. Mom was all I had. It seems everyone has someone. I have no one. I fill my time going to AA meetings and looking for a job. Other than that I sit alone in my small condo trying to find then next best thing to do. I’m not doing well right now, and now need prayer for an answer to my lonely life. Thank you for your prayers”.  UPDATE:  We have been unable to connect with Rick since last month…Please pray that he contacts one of the Prayer Warriors who have been reaching out to him so that he knows we are here for him.
