She has allergies which could be detrimental to her recover. She also is very isolated geographically from her family and will be out of touch during her rehab.

Pray for wisdom and steady hands for the surgeons and staff and that her recovery is not complicated by her allergies. Pray also for the extended family as they will be out of touch and worried about her.

Individual Needs:

Ana – (Gary) “Ana and Anita are at Cook Children’s in Fort Worth. Ana’s Sodium is low again, 131 and needs to be 140 and her white blood cell count is low. She received a transfusion today. Please be praying for her veins because they are wearing out from all the sticks for blood. Also pray that her sodium and white cell count improves, for wisdom for the medical team and the Coles, and for peace and comfort for us. For unknown reasons, this trip has been a bit more bumpy than the past ones. Thank you for praying for us. IN HIM, Ana, Anita, and Gary” UPDATE: still waiting to hear how Ana is doing.

Jeannie (Gloria’s Cousin) - “Jeannie just went for a mammogram and they found a mass, but not sure what it is. My Aunt Jeanette, Jeannie’s mother, and one other daughter, had cancer of the breast and had to have them removed along with all the horrors of the therapy. Now her youngest daughter Jeannie might be added. I have been witnessing to this Aunt for at least two years now and she has called me, to put her daughter on our prayer list. She is so scared her daughter will have cancer like she and her other daughter had.” UPDATE: “Just wanted to update my request for prayers for my cousin Jeannie. The family wants me to thank all those of you who lifted my cousin up to the Lord. They just received the phone call for the results of the biopsy for breast cancer; it was not cancer, just calcium deposits. They are all crying giving God thanks. My Aunt called me and asked me to thank you all for your prayers. A happy ending, thank you all.” Praise God!!

Vince & Kris (Gloria) Gloria’s (Prayer Warrior) Son asks “please Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Kris and I invite you in the spirit of unity in the body of Christ to join us in a pre-election fast and intercessory prayer for our troubled nation. The Lord has put it into my heart to fast for 40 days prior to the November 2 vote. Kris and I shall sustain ourselves with protein shakes, nutritional drinks, and His grace- abstaining from all solid food. Our fast would begin on September 22 and end on Monday, November 1st. We ask you for your prayers and -if you are so moved – to participate to whatever degree you can. Although 2 Chronicles 7:14 was spoken to covenantal Israel, perhaps the Lord will begin to heal our nation for the sake of His children. Please feel free to forward this to other faithful friends. In His Name, Vince and Kris”

King Family (Jean-Pierre) “Please pray for the family of Timothy King from Grand Junction Colorado. Tim’s youngest daughter Bekah (age 20) went out to spend time with friends. As she turned onto the main road, a pickup without its lights on struck and killed her. ps. (Not Max King’s son). UPDATE: Please continue to keep this family in your prayers.

Duda Family (Wanda) “please keep my friends in prayer: Tommy & Karen’s youngest son Michael (11 yrs old) was killed in a boating accident while on vacation near Plantation Key. He was riding in a 17-foot vessel when the operator (16 yr old) made a sharp left turn. Michael was thrown overboard and struck by the vessel. Pray for Tommy, Karen and the boys: Eric & Christopher. Tommy said this about Michael: “He truly was Christ-like in his approach to people, his everyday goal was to make people’s life better. I truly believe he was a gift from God for us as a parent, in many respects, he would teach me how to become a better person and a better husband.” UPDATE: Please continue to keep this family in your prayers.

September 17-18 – Covenant Bible Fellowship Church in Garrettsville, Ohio. Theme: What About The Rapture? The first speech surveys the NT texts which reveal what the first century church expected to see, hear, and experience at the Parousia. Next is a lesson on what the Old Testament says about the Rapture. The third presentation explains how the Rapture occurred (cosmologically) in relation to both the SEEN and UNSEEN realms. The fourth lesson pinpoints the date of the rapture and shows where it fits in the sequence of endtime events. The final lesson discusses the implications of the Rapture for the Church beyond AD 70. Plus there will be two question and answer sessions where we will address some of the more significant objections that critics have raised against the rapture. ** Please specifically pray for: “There is a lot of confusion out there among Preterists as to what the “snatching away” mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4 is all about. Pray that this seminar will help bring some clarity to the issue, and that we Preterists will not let our differences of opinion on this issue interfere with our Christian fellowship and our united efforts to promote the Preterist cause.” Ed Stevens

They are looking for other masses in her body, as they are easier to biopsy. It’s really hard on Jim. He lost his Mother in 1999 to cancer and this is troubling to him. I’m praying for a positive outcome, and no cancer is found in her body.”

Nathan (Tom) Sue’s 2 years old son has been diagnosed with PKU; “(Phenylketonuria: a deficiency in the hepatic enzyme phenylalanine hydroxylase (PAH). This enzyme is necessary to metabolize the amino acid phenylalanine (‘Phe’) to the amino acid tyrosine. When PAH is deficient, phenylalanine accumulates and is converted into phenylpyruvate, this then builds up in the brain, causing mental retardation, seizures, then death.) Please pray for them.”

Ana Update! “Life at the Cole’s has been going ok. Ana’s kidney is doing fine and as of right now she seems to be doing ok with all her other peripheral issues. We all traveled by plane to Ridgefield, Washington which is about a half hour north of the Portland, Oregon airport. Ana met my brother and his wife and son and my oldest sister’s husband and two daughters. Ana said that she really enjoyed the visit and meeting more family. We spent 10 days in Washington with a one day jaunt to Eugene, Oregon. We were able to visit Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. St. Helens, and the Oregon coast along highway 101. This was the first vacation Ana, Anita, and I have been able to take together as a family and we had a great time. Ana really enjoyed the scenery of the Pacific Northwest, meeting more family, and the plane trip. We saw the Grand Canyon from the air, and the mountains of Washington, Oregon, and Northern California from the air too. Please pray for Ana’s continued compliance regarding her medical needs. She has been a real blessing and encouragement as she faithfully takes her meds twice everyday, drinking enough gatorade and water, and taking care of her other medical needs. She has so much to do everyday to maintain her health. Every once in awhile she has asked me “why me?”. I tell her that I do not have an answer, but that Anita and I will always love her and we will help her get through each day one day at a time. I tell her that God only gives us one day at a time so that we trust HIM each day and we don’t need to worry about any more than that. Also pray that GOD will give Anita and I wisdom to deal with all the questions that Ana has and will continue to have as she becomes a Godly young woman. Ana will be 15 this November. Thank you all for your continued prayers, love and support. IN HIM,Gary for Anita and Ana =

Please pray specifically for Pastor Bob for his requests: “I have just recovered from pneumonia, which has left me without much energy. I had to cancel my next speaking tour in Europe. I would appreciate prayer for my health, and that I can recover soon! I am working on my schedule for the next two years. It is difficult to remember that I am not 21 anymore. I need wisdom to schedule those things that my health and my age will handle. My last speaking tour in Europe was 60 days long – and a bit too much for me. I am excited that there are so many requests from all over the world, but I need to use God’s wisdom to know which to accept. Your Friend, Pastor Bob”

Ed H. (Prayer Warrior) UPDATE: “Thanks for your prayers. My blood count is back to normal. I am “home.” My face is still very red, and slightly swollen, and I will have a couple scars where the infection burst through my skin. I have also had some damage to my right optic nerve but it is too early to tell how long or how much of the vision damage will remain over time. They had to give me 26 rounds of IV antibiotics, and I still have an oral cycle. This has basically destroyed my immune system and any good bacteria I had in my body as well. I dropped 15 pounds in the 4 days, but I feel good today. My energy level is better than it has been for months. My pain is still pronounced, but I will live. They actually told me I was within a 3 mm advance of the infection from permanent brain damage. They still do not know the cause and said is pronouncement bursting through my face from my sinus was odd as well. Thanks again for your prayers. Ed” **Please keep Ed in your prayers as he transitions back to normal activities and that his body heal completely.

Josh – (Claudette’s teenage son) PRAISE: UPDATE: Josh underwent the procedure this week to remove the IVC filter that was placed after his accident. He did very well and is recovering. Please keep him in your prayers as well as Claudette (Prayer Warrior) who is undergoing testing to diagnose a neurological issue that is causing her to have seizures.

Geoff (Jean-Pierre) “Please put Geoff on the prayer list – he is a man I met on a French forum and he was asking if preterism is true.
Rick’s Cousin (AD70.net) My cousin is in a tough situation. She’s in a relationship where the guy is stringing her along, and she can’t see it. She feels that God is guiding her in her thoughts. I pray that she is listening. She declares that she is getting messages from God in prayer that are asking her to stay in this relationship, where she is giving all and not receiving much at all. It completely one sided. I pray that she is actually getting God’s message for her, and not her own. She’s a mother to 3 young boys, and gets little support from their father. I pray for God’s peace for her. Thanks, Rick.

Rick’s ex-Wife (AD70.net) Hi everyone! Please pray for a positive outcome in my ex-wife’s current relationship. She’s got an internet relationship going on and they’ve met once. We all went to high school together. I see some very disturbing things going on with the relationship. He’s added her to his family plan on his cell phone, she’s moving in with him in October. She’ll be living with his mother and him for about 6 months before they get a place of their own. She’s known him for less than 6 months. He’s showing himself to be controlling and she’s putting herself it what I see is a dangerous situation, regardless of what her family and anyone else has to say about this. She’ll be in CA and 1800 miles away from her family here in IA. I want this to work out for the best, as I want the best for her. I ask that God provides for her the best situation there can be for this, if it is His will. So prayers for His will be done are what I ask I guess. Thank you, and God bless, Rick.

Hey everyone, this is an urgent request for prayer for a fellow Prayer Warrior – Ed Hassertt.

He suffers physically due to a degenerative nerve condition from military service accompanied by severe arthritis and chronic severe pain which causes occasional paralysis and weakness and the level of pain has increased tremendously over the last 2 months. The last few days he has had a fever and swelling especially in his face and neck.

Yesterday the fever broke but the swelling and inflammation was really extremely pronounced (he sent me a picture) and he finally stopped being stubborn and allowed his friends to take him to the Emergency Department last night. He was admitted to St. Joseph’s Peace Hospital shortly thereafter due to a Staph infection (they ran cultures to check for MRSA which is a resistant and very dangerous strain of Staph but they take a couple days to grow out) and the doctors told him that if he had waited another day or two the infection could have reached his brain. He is on IV antibiotics and resting ok.

Please be in prayer that the infection responds well to the antibiotics and that it is not MRSA. Also that he is able to have some pain relief while in the hospital and that the doctors might even be able to address his increased level of pain from the nerve condition.

UPDATE 7/7 (am) – Thank you to all who are in prayer. Ed was able to get a few hours rest and is on his third round of antibiotics. A CT Scan this morning showed no abscesses (praise God) so they are trying to get the infection under control. He is still in pain but not quite as much so please continue to keep him in your prayers today especially.

UPDATE: 7/7 (pm) Ed was started on yet another IV antibiotic this afternoon and he still has an incredible amount of swelling and inflammation in his face. Please pray for healing and that his pain is better controlled and that the doctors are able to address his increased level of pain from his degenerative nerve disease while an inpatient. Still waiting for the blood tests to show any specific pathogen causing the infection.

UPDATE: 7/8 (am) Ed’s WBC (white blood count) is coming down so the antibiotics appear to be doing their job!

UPDATE: 7/9 (am) The swelling and inflammation is slowly receding and the infection appears to finally be under control. Ed was able to get a few short hours of sleep this morning and is hoping to get the news today that he can be discharged.

UPDATE: 7/9 (pm) Great news! Ed is being discharged this evening at 6pm PST! He has had a rough day today due to the last 3 rounds of antibiotics and anticoagulants but will be more comfortable at home.

Thanks and blessings. w
