Individual Needs:
Don & Janis Preston – UPDATE: “I am just thrilled to announce that my wife has been declared cancer free! I can’t tell you how much of a relief this us to us, and how thankful we are to the Father! And, please express our sincere appreciation to the prayer partners for their prayers! Our God is wonderful! Don K” (Janis just finished a round of radium treatment for her thyroid cancer). Praise God!
Patrick Stone – (SGP) “Keep me in your prayers…Found out recently that the cancer has recurred and I am flying out to Texas next week for more evaluations. I have been praying God will dry it up to nonexistence and hope you will pray together with me in faith.” UPDATE: Patrick needs to have surgery to remove this adenocarcinoma. They will be operating using a technique that will give the surgeon better access to the tumor but it is more dangerous for Patrick as they will be cutting away part of his skull. Surgery is scheduled for 4/5.
Curtis Sibbit – (SGP) “My son is going through some very rough emotional times and it’s getting scary. Please pray that the Lord gives us the right words and attitudes so he can see how much we love and support him. He’ll be 14 this month.” UPDATE: “Thank you all for praying for Kolin and our family. Kolin seems to have made a dramatic turn around. Yes, there are still some things to work on but my attitude and words have changed and his spirit has lifted. I’m sure both changes had a lot to do with all your prayers, and for that I am grateful. Remember us in your prayers from time to time as the Lord finishes this work in us. IN HIM Curtis”
Michael Loomis – Please pray for Mike this week especially as he is working unceasingly to establish the ministries that have brought so much joy and nourishment and comfort to many of us. Pray that his efforts do not wear him down and that he is able to find ways to have others share this burden with him. Pray for financial support of the ministries (AD70.net, Preterist.tv, etc.) so that he may increase the functionality and effectiveness of these forums. Also please pray that his family is supportive during this time and that he is able to have time with them in order to rest and be restored.
Greg Rowe – (The Arena) “Dear Brothers and Sisters, I’d like for you all to keep in prayer the prospect of a new preterist fellowship to begin in my home here in the Florida Keys. Thank you. If you know of any preterist fellowship opportunities in that area please email at: prayer@ad70.net and I will pass it on!
Rick – (AD70.net) “My Mother died on the 28th of June, 2009. I was her caregiver. We lived a life of solitude. We had moved to Des Moines, IA so that I could marry my high school sweetheart. That didn’t work out. We left our family and friends in Arizona and now that she is gone I am extremely lonely. I’m all alone in a world of people. Easter is coming up and I don’t want to be alone for the holiday. My family has taken care of the other holidays, by providing a place for me to come, this holiday it seems I’m going to be all alone. I ask for prayer for my loneliness as I’m afraid of it on a holiday. Mom was all I had. It seems everyone has someone. I have no one. I fill my time going to AA meetings and looking for a job. Other than that I sit alone in my small condo trying to find then next best thing to do. I’m not doing well right now, and now need prayer for an answer to my lonely life. Thank you for your prayers”
Dan Easter – (Journal Page) “Pray that the knowledge that has been imparted to me may be a benefit to others (preterism) and that the Holy Spirit will direct me to others in my community that I will have fellowship in these things”. Dan lives in Omaha, AR and is 23 miles south of Branson Mo. If you know of any preterist fellowship opportunities in that area please email at: prayer@ad70.net and I will pass it on!
Ministries:
Fulfilled! Magazine – Brian Martin (FCG). Fulfilled! Magazine is the only full-color magazine from a full-Preterist perspective. Published quarterly, Fulfilled! covers a multitude of Preterist topics from a variety of Preterist authors, speakers, and pastors. Please pray for: those involved in bringing us this ministry to have perseverance thru all of the logistics of maintaining the magazine, DVD orders, emails, etc. This is a huge amount of work and upkeep. Also pray that Brian is able to find the time to work on additional video projects and that he continues to place his trust that God is in control rather than getting frustrated at what he feels he isn’t accomplishing.
AD70.net Show/Hosts:
The Antipodean Hour – Al Persohn & Michael Loomis. This show from down under is on Saturdays at 11am PST and is a variety of world news, politics, theology, and health topics. Pray for Al to continue with his global watching and that he has the time and energy to accomplish the incredible amount of research he does for each show. Pray for health and wisdom and discernment. Also from Al: “My show has a strong negative tilt – I want to keep it positive – though the material is not – and I want listeners to come away with the knowledge they need to rise above the times to come. I hope at least that we can cause people to think, pray and reach out to God so that they actually prosper rather than struggle.”
Church/Worship Gathering:
Covenant Community Church – Pastor Tim Martin. (Whitehall, MT) Praises: Two members recently had babies born in March and babies and moms are doing great! This spring will celebrate the tenth anniversary as a formal congregation! Families are growing stronger and our internal relationships continue to develop. Please pray for: 1. “Our big prayer request right now is for our upcoming work season. Most of the members do seasonal work that can be hazardous due to big tractors, strenuous activity, lots of driving, etc. Every year about this time we pray for safety in our work and God’s blessing on a productive year. It has been a long, tight winter for a lot of us.” 2. “We are also doing community outreach in a political arena. We are talking with a lot of people about how to better organize our local devoted Christian families to be more self-reliant and rely on each other more. We are not too happy about the increasing size and scope of the Federal Government over-reaching into our lives in so many ways. We think a strong community may be the right antidote to best handle that problem.” 3. “We are also making plans for our Election Day Sermon at the capitol in Helena. This will be the 5th election cycle (bi-annual) that we have held the Election Day Sermon (we’ve been doing it 10 years now). This time we will hold it around the 1st of January right before the Montana Legislature is sworn in for the next session. We are praying for some organizational help from our community and that the event will be well-attended again, causing an impact in our state for Christ.”
