April Requests # 4

Individual Needs:

Ana – (AD70.net) Gary’s daughter who is 14yrs old and recently received a kidney transplant. Please pray for: “continued recovery, and that GOD permits her kidney to be accepted by her little body. She is about 60 lbs. Also pray for Anita and me (Gary). This year being apart has been very stretching. Ana and Anita will be coming home in about 6 weeks if she continues to improve and her kidney is not rejected. It is all becoming quite overwhelming as I look at all that has happened the past few years. Also, Ana had cardiac arrest last May, and fully survived without ANY brain damage.”  UPDATE: From Gary: “Ana visited the docs again today. The urine culture lab results were available.  She has a nasty bladder infection and is taking CIPRO which is a heavy duty antibiotic.  Her temp is down and her kidney continues to chug along like it’s supposed too.  Please pray that the bladder infection disappears quickly, and that her kidney keeps chuggin’ along!  I will be in Fort Worth this weekend.”    ** We will have continued updates for Ana each week!

Melissa & Family – (Pretcosmos group) Melissa’s Uncle Nonnie died suddenly.  Please keep her and her Uncle’s family in your prayers – we will post more info as we get updates.

Josh – (Claudette’s teenage son) PRAISE REPORT! “Josh saw Dr Farmer the orthopedic doctor yesterday, the concern has been for his left ankle, the circulation was not getting to the bone he fractured in the accident. A miracle has happened and God has healed him and he will not have to have his ankle fused. This could have affected his career (he wants to be a firefighter or a cop), which would have been very hard to accomplish with a fused ankle. Dr Farmer was pleasantly surprised and said to Josh he must have done something right because he was convinced he would need more surgery. On the right ankle he does need arthroscopic surgery, which is minor compared to what he has been through. Please continue to pray that he will be able to go off the Coumadin in June, he is still on this for a blood clot in his leg but he is on his way to truly being healed from such a horrible accident. Praise God!!!!!!”

Rick – (AD70.net) “My Mother died on the 28th of June, 2009. I was her caregiver. We lived a life of solitude. We had moved to Des Moines, IA so that I could marry my high school sweetheart. That didn’t work out. We left our family and friends in Arizona and now that she is gone I am extremely lonely. I’m all-alone in a world of people. Easter is coming up and I don’t want to be alone for the holiday. My family has taken care of the other holidays, by providing a place for me to come, this holiday it seems I’m going to be all-alone. I ask for prayer for my loneliness, as I’m afraid of it on a holiday. Mom was all I had. It seems everyone has someone. I have no one. I fill my time going to AA meetings and looking for a job. Other than that I sit alone in my small condo trying to find then next best thing to do. I’m not doing well right now, and now need prayer for an answer to my lonely life. Thank you for your prayers”.  UPDATE:  We have been unable to connect with Rick since last month…Please pray that he contacts one of the Prayer Warriors who have been reaching out to him so that he knows we are here for him.

Patrick Stone – (SGP) Patrick had surgery on 4/5 to remove the adenocarcinoma. They used a technique that will while giving the surgeon better access to the tumor it is more dangerous for Patrick as they cut away part of his skull.  UPDATE: I have been unable to get an update since his surgery.

Ed Hassertt – Please keep Ed in your prayers as he continues to wait on the VA’s complete decision as well as ministry/work opportunities to unfold. Pray for his children to be able to continue to be connected with him (thru technology and visits) during the next several months of transition.

Ministries:

Preterist TV – Michael Loomis.  The newest venture within the AD70.net ministry network.  Pray for continued support from around the world with working out the technical aspects of this site.  Also, please pray that Mike has many opportunities to talk about the truth of the Gospel with people he comes into contact during the building of this ministry!  You know he likes to have a captive audience and customer service reps have to be polite!  LOL.  Pray for financial support for this and the bigger ministry of AD70.net and for Mike to be able to get the equipment, supplies, and staff needed to take some of the burden off of his shoulders.  Pray also for Michael and his wife as they are going on vacation in a couple weeks…that they have a restful time and enjoy being together!

AD70.net Show/Hosts:

Wekillchildren.com – Jeffrey Geibel. Airs on Friday at 9:00pm PST ** Time may be changing.  Please pray for specifically: “I (Jeffrey) believe I have two purposes at this point: 1. Convince people that children being killed should be protected 2. Convince people that believe that children should be protected to act upon their belief. Generally, I hope to bring dignity and equality to children within the womb via dialogue, language change, and recognition of our own time in the womb. Pray that children in the womb would receive dignity and equality throughout the show. That mothers wouldn’t end the life of their children’s lives because of the show. That I can be successful/fruitful in this cause and in my family and life, all together at the same time.”

Church/Worship Gathering:

Fulfilled Covenant Fellowship – Pastor Jim Murray.  This is the fellowship group that May Lyn (AD70.net) attends in Mullica Hill, NJ.  (I have a contact number if you would like to contact them please email me at prayer@ad70.net)  Currently, fellowship is on Sundays at 3pm.  Please pray specifically for this group to continue to grow and for Rita who had surgery on her arm a couple weeks ago and still experiences some numbness.  Pray for healing and restoration of function.

* Exciting things are happening all around the world with regards to preterist home based fellowships and we pray that those who are isolated and alone may find others to join with for fellowship and spiritual nourishment!  We will continue to pray for the existing groups so please let us know about you so we can put you on the list!  Also, if you are looking to start a fellowship or find others please contact us at: prayer@ad70.net
